Venue: Martin’s West
I usually get to spend roughly 15 minutes with a bride and groom to capture their formal images on the wedding day. However, due to unforseen circumstances, this was not the case for Adam and Jenae. I spoke with Jenae after she had returned from her honeymoon to schedule an after wedding session. We got together on a beautiful Sunday morning at their wedding venue. I love the fact that I was able to spend 2 hours (that’s right, 2 hours) with a bride and groom. I think that all couples should do an after wedding session. Adam and Jenae had the best attitude the entire time even though it was hot outside! They were open to anything that I wanted to do and even had a few suggestions of their own. These are a few images from their beautiful session.
During the session, the banquet manager came out to greet us. He immediately offered to fix Adam and Jenae some lunch due to the fact that they didn’t get a chance to enjoy their meal during their wedding. No one expected what he had in store for them. After we finished their session, the banquet manager asked us to follow him into the reception hall and have our camera’s ready. He had prepared a sweetheart table in the middle of the reception hall. It was truly a special surprise. Amongst tears, Adam and Jenae was able to share the first dance that they missed during their reception. It just shows that good things come to good people.
