On a beautiful Saturday in June, Roland and Shanel became husband and wife. There is one thing that I know for sure about this couple, that their marriage is based in God. A few days before their wedding I sat with Roland and Shanel and asked them a couple of question for a video we were creating. During this process I learned a few things that leads me to believe that this marriage will stand the test of time. From Shanel I learned that she sees the potential of greatness in her husband, which to me is a very important thing. She also told me that she sees God in Roland and since God is truth and love, it lets me know that she feels those things from Roland. After talking with Roland I learned that Shanel completes him. She makes him strive to be a better person. What they look forward to most is growing and developing their life together, which I pray is until their last waking moment.
